The black and silver horse in the painting represents the individual with areas of concern, whereas the white and red horse stands for the healing aspect of horses. They both mirror each other as stated by the symmetry of the painting and the tiny mirrors. The feathers to me seem something delicate but strong, as is the relationship between two individuals, no matter the species, although horses are known to be a therapeutic animal. The red rope, which I used as a frame, is used to lead horses. In this case, it symbolizes the healer's leading rope. The healer doesn't cure the other individual, but leads her/him to find and learn the way her/himself.
